Frittelli & Lockwood Scarves – Glens Falls,
New York

Cecilia Frittelli and Richard Lockwood have been textile designers for over 20 years, married since 1984, full-time business partners since 1990, and parents of two school-age children. They live in Greenfield NY, just north of Saratoga Springs, near the campus of Skidmore College.

They design and create cloth on both traditional and computerized looms using multi-harness construction for color and weave effect. The luxury fibers we use include silk, linen, alpaca, and chenille. Their newest fabrications feature eco-friendly yarns such as bamboo and soy fibers. Once woven, the retro-inspired textiles are then steam-finished, cut and sewn into custom-tailored garments with exceptional fit and comfort.

Etcetera Media – Boston, Massachusetts

ETCETERA MEDIA was founded in January 2005 by Boston-based designers Kelly Smith and Chris Grimley. ETCETERA’S products include tote and shoulder bags and accessories for both men and women. Each bag or case is designed with the intention of protecting digital products such as laptops, cameras and music players. Described as “simple, modern. . .a designer bag for designers,” the collection uses contemporary materials to create clean shapes that are tactilely appealing. Thick industrial wool felt is combined with high-quality Knoll textiles and makes the interior patterns a pleasant surprise from the simplicity of the exterior form.

JAK Designs - Ohio

JAK Designs began in 1997 in a tiny rooftop studio in San Francisco’s Mission District. They moved across the country, and they have a yard now, but the structure of the business remains the same. Jen and Tanya knit every piece in each collection, striving to make each garment and accessory the finest it can be by constructing each piece with thorough attention to detail and quality. As an artist and designer, Jen values the craft quality and the design aspect equally.

Artgirlz

Tracy and Allison Stilwell, known as the Artgirlz, are sisters. They are funny, irreverent, and smart, with a lot more to them than meets the eye. These two lighthearted women with the artsy outfits and unique haircuts are also seriously talented artists and hard-working business women creating unusually edgy pieces from pewter charms, wool felt and an assortment of other materials.

Tigo Gifts – Boise, Idaho

"In 1997 we founded Tigo Gifts Inc. with a vision to create an original line of fine suede items.  Our many free-spirited travel adventures and times spent admiring the splendors of nature have inspired us to design products that have a natural look and feel.  We are committed to creating products with both a practical use and an innovative design. All of our items are made from high quality suede and are available in an array of colors."

Rustico - Utah

"Rustico's commitment to quality extends far beyond words on a page. Our attention to detail is unmatched in the industry of leather journals and begins even before our initial product designs leave the drawing board:

Our leathers are designed to have a weathered and aged patina. Some of our pieces have scars and other natural markings which we tastefully incorporate into designs and which improve the appearance of your leather journal over time.
The paper used in our leather journals is a thick-weight hand-torn deckled edge paper. In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we use either post consumer recycled paper or a cotton rag blended paper, both of which are excellent for all types of writing or drawing."
